Poor EJ, contending with wind, corvids, and a mate intent on nestorising and bonking and making her wait until well past 4 o'clock for half a fish!
And to cap it all, in the evening the pesky piney brought her to the nest, where she still stands, on guard.
IMAGICAT
EJ has been chirping softly now 'n then.
Thanks for all the posts and pics You've been keeping a vigil
Good morning MC and Patily.
Birdies LG DU update.
Hi MIKE
You'd think she was fish-calling now. She's had a little potter, not achieving a lot, calling all the while.
GOOD MORNING SCYLLA, PATILY AND MIKE
Thanks for starting us off Scylla, so I take it by your introduction Scylla, EJ only got half a fish yesterday,... Odin seems to put her on a diet at this time every year.... I hope when she is doing the most of the incubating that she gets a bit more than half a fish every day, or she might be nicking along to Aviemore to get one of her whoppers.
Has the Pine Martin actually been seen?
Thank You for ALL of your pics and posts over night too, took me a while to catch up LOL....
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Odin's back on the nest, I didn't see what he brought. No thoughts of fishing yet, obviously.
Good morning, PATILY, MIKE and MARY :)
MARY, I only saw half a fish yesterday, hope I didn't miss something when catching up, thus dissing our dear boy.
