Manton Bay
I logged in at Loch of the Lowes just in time to see Lassie fly away, for a quick comfort tour it turned out. Her departure left me with an excellent view of the eggs. By the time I got them recorded and went back to the nest Lassie had returned and was already settled in place on her eggs.
No camera at Dyfi. Instead I found this:
ALERT: MAJOR POWER OUTAGE, WHOLE AREA IS OUT.
Camera at Dyfi was not out long., was back on before I went to bed. Here is a current snap of Monty and Glesni.

So KEITH you have recently been exploring "NESTS IN THE WILD". How I would love to have been included in that expedition. Wild nests hold a great fascination for me because they are so close to nature and also partly because they remain a mystery to some of us.
Did you get any photos or observations that you can share with us? No ID info, of course. How many nests? How available were they to roads and general public observation? Did you see any osprey or observe any activity?
For a long time I thought the Lochter Nest was a nest in the wild. It took a lot of mind readjustment on my part when I learned that it is quite the opposite. Very public, very easily observed by many.
