I have been playing on Facebook with this photo of EJ & Odin . All of the above are Facebook's variations on this one beautiful picture.
Great stuff, June - I particularly like the very top one that looks a bit like Marquetry.

My goodness, the colors. This nest capture is as crazy as the artificial depictions above.
Uh-Oh! Something is definitely coming down - long white streaks on the screen. Rain, snow, hail? Wind evidenced by EJ's blown head feathers. Also frequent flashes of light, although no zig-zag rivers of light or thunder (maybe no sound). And EJ chooses to be out in the middle of all that.
So while I was posting, EJ has flown away.
Looks like she has moved down one floor. Wind blowing hard enough to shake the perch, but no white streaks or flashes of light.
Still no sign of Odin, but he has always been a trifle tardy in getting back!

According to my very sketchy and unreliable notes, but they're closer than better ones, he is due now any time. Last year he arrived on yesterday's date March 28, 2014 on the 30th and in 2012 on April 1st. Are y'all getting nervous over on the other threads? I am.
I just received word on Facebook that a male was seen on the nest at 15:00 and that we are waiting confirmation that it was Odin. The nest is empty at the moment.
