Really good news that Clarach has found herself a possible mate and hope they will continue to bond! I wonder who the large Scottish female was who chased her away from the Rutland nest?
It appears some young females will travel around to find an opportunity of a nest and others will stay put in a particular area on a wait and see situation. I make the comparison with Blue 2R and Blue 24.
I am sure if there had been an opportunity at Rutland then Blue 2R would have seized it and she may not have travelled to The Trossachs.
It is also interesting at a young age probably last year in the case of 2R that they map out these nests so far away from each other. Wonder if they follow in another osprey or spot them from height.
So where is Loch Ard? At Alberfoyle? Sorry, I don't have your kn0wledge of Scottish Geography.

Manton Bay at dawn
JUNE - Manton Bay looks lovely at dawn.
Unfortunately we can not say the same for Loch Garten at present.
The North of Scotland has been hit with a bout of Artic Air.
This is set to worsen over the next few hours until at least tomorrow which will make life for the ospreys difficult at such an important time.
JUNE - Loch Ard is only a mile from Aberfoyle. It is approximately 18 miles from my home. It is certainly not the nearest nest to me that honour being just a few miles away on the River Teith.
Loch Ard is where Blue 2R has settled for now and the pictures of the nest are beamed into The Lodge Forest Visitor Centre on the other side of Aberfoyle.
Keith GLaD TO SEE YOUR PICTURES. I just picked up the news from Facebook. Tuned in to the nest to see this.
Yes it has just let up for a bit. Forecast hourly through until 5:00 AM tomorrow.
UH-OH!!
