Was thinking about how much Brenda posted on the DYFI thread, especially last season where she liked to post her captures of Monty, Glesni and family, so thought it would be nice to dedicate the first thread starting off the new season to Brenda.
She along with Margo will be sadly missed from this forum, it is so sad that we have to start off with the loss of not one but two valued members.

Hi Patily good to 'see' you. Hope you are in good shape for the BC.
I have been practising already for BC Mike lol....
I can think of nothing better getting up early in the morning and seeing the sun come up over the nest at LG and watching the beautiful EJ, enough to gladden the heart :-)
New Camera Blog. Part 1
Another lovely read, Mike. Love the toads!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
PATILY! Great to see you!
Karen W said: Thanks Mike. So she arrived 23 April last year ... that is quite late for some reason I thought she was an early returnee but good as I am sure they will have the platform down in plenty time. Can't understand why they just didn't take it down at the end of last year but doesn't matter as long as its dismantled :-)

Hi all from New Zealand (temporarily!). Blue24 may only have been first seen at Dyfi on 23 April, but she was back in mid-Wales quite some time before that, and has typically arrived before Glesni in previous years. In 2016 she tried to take over the ON5 nest in mid-Wales with Dai Dot. I saw her there myself on 25 March, and he brought her fish. It was only when the unringed breeding female (who some call Delyth) arrived and ousted her from that nest that she came down to Dyfi.

Thanks Choco for the update about Blue 24.
And how wonderful you are in New Zealand - one place I would love to visit. Enjoy!
