HAPPY NEW WEEK! Hello to everyone, and I hope you all have a good week.
I thought I would begin the week by honouring Brenda. She was a wise and truly kind person, and she will be missed.
{{HUGS}} to you, OG.....
AQ -- Sounds as if you'll be dreaming about sausages! My OH asks me twice a day, about what we're having tonight - after I told him earlier already.
Been into town on boring errands to do with sorting out money matters. All accomplished, plus got some Euros for our upcoming trip.
Ate meat from the freezer, as we have to defrost it. I don't usually do this at this time of year, but Someone left the door ajar and it's frosted up.
Hello all. Just read at the end of last wks blog of the passing of Brenda. How sad, hadn't realised she was so ill. Will certainly be missed.
On a more cheerful note - had a lovely 70th birthday meal out at an Italian restaurant with OH, Dau, Son and Dau-in-Law. Big bunches of flowers plus a couple of gift vouchers which I shall enjoy spending in due course.
Have discovered a lump in throat area so spoke to a doctor friend on Sunday (he's actually my GP as well) and said it certainly shouldn't be there and will get things in motion to be seen etc. Today heard from the surgery that an xray has been arranged, just to turn up. Also the hospital rang and have an appointment with an oncology doctor next week to rule out cancer or not. At least I will be seen in the next 10 days and go from there. Being positive, it may just turn out to be an infection of which I have been put on antibiotics as a precaution. Only time will tell. Right, 'nough said about me.
OG - sorry to learn that you are still under the weather, do hope you are feeling better soon.
Lindybird - love the pic of rabbit and piglet - so cute.

Thanks for all your varying bits of news. Keep warm and well.
Evening all: Got started organizing some of my OH's files today. What a mess. but got a lot of shredding and recycling accomplished.
Heather: Don't like to think of you shivering. Did you decide to leave the heat off another night? My favorite thing is to read in bed. In the morning, I love to get coffee and go back to bed and read for 45 minutes or so (after I've turned the heater on).
George: Always good to see you. You seem to take such good care of the ladies in your family. Surprised anyone would want to leave NZ for the UK in the midst of winter. Have fund on Friday.
Lindybird: A lovely rose and what a good reason to cherish it. I can see me buying the horse as a memento.
dibnlib: Do you think there's a chance your Mom's meds are monitored better in the hospital? That might account for what sounds like more usual confusion.
OG: Every day a little better I hope! Nights too.
PatO: Only 7 more days of January.
AQ: Sounds like a fun time with the kiddies. Knitted sausages for tea eh?
Lynette: Happy belated birthday! Sounds like a lovely time.
Off to bed soon. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.
Good Morning, All. Cold and frosty here again.
Lynette - Glad you enjoyed your Birthday celebrations, and congrats on being Seven O! Sorry it's been somewhat marred by finding a lump; sounds as if your GP is on the ball and you will get all the tests needed. Hope the ABs do the job.
Annette - There's something satisfying about having a good clear out of papers.... reminds me that I must do some, too.
Today's pic:
"Sometimes I get soo tired!"
Happy Rabbie's Day!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Thanks, OG - I forgot! - I think in my mind it's Burns Night tomorrow! Hope you've had a better night.
