HAPPY NEW WEEK! Hello to everyone, and I hope you all have a good week.
I thought I would begin the week by honouring Brenda. She was a wise and truly kind person, and she will be missed.
Thanks for all posts - lovely pics, Clare. I also like the sweet song of the Dunnock.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
'Deer' photos from Minsmere, Clare! Be careful driving in the fog!
I put out extra food today for our garden birds, as it's going to be very cold tonight :-(
Thinking of everyone who's not feeling too good.
Just chilling - love it Lindy.
OH yes, nearly forgot, Happy Burns night to all our Scottish friends.

Lovely set of pics, Clare. Always a delight when you post your pics.
Evening all: Thanks all for news and pix. All okay here, but lots of paperwork and organizing of various projects, etc. going on. On a roll so don't want to break the momentum, especially as am having to keep OH motivated too. :-) ( However, am taking a quick break to see Brit friend for coffee in the a.m.)
Wishing all a good Thursday - and Happy Burns night.
Good morning all
It is cooler here this morning but yesterday was 10°c, very unseasonable. My brother continues to complain about the cold temperatures in central Brittany - he phoned me yesterday morning to tell me that they had freezing fog.
LYNETTE- hope that the ABs help. It is good that you are getting checked out.
ANNETTE- good luck with keeping your OH motivated re paperwork and filing etc. I have been delving into the filing cabinet rather a lot lately and found things that I'd put away years ago. OH had been clearing some old stuff out over the past couple of years but I haven't....
CLARE- Forgot to say that I liked the caption about the crows nest!
OG- hope you got more than four hours sleep last night. You must be exhausted.
LINDY- I'm enjoying your pics, thank you.
AQ- I love reading about those imaginary games! As we said before, it brings back happy memories. Before my eldest granddaughters discovered the internet etc I often used to find bits of paper with details of their games. One was a guided tour around their version of Kincraig wild life park.
Son and his brother in law arrive tomorrow for a long weekend. They have been on Islay for a few days researching (!) for the whisky shop. We've got a couple of family meals lined up for Saturday and Sunday and I'm going to make cornish pasties for tomorrow evening when the boys arrive. I'll go food shopping with eldest daughter tomorrow.
Good Morning, All. Feels cold here, but I think it's worse for those in the South :-(
A busy day ahead - Friend is coming for lunch, and we aim to watch a film this afternoon, so I must clean & tidy this morning.
Good Luck with your projects, both home and away, Annette.
Here's today's pic:
Good morning, all. It's ever so slightly less cold here today - and I didn't have to scrape half a ton of ice off the car this morning! Yay!
54 days to Her Beautifulness........and counting.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
For the first morning in ages I woke to a green world instead of a white one! Think it's cold, though, and breezy - I haven't quite got around to opening the door yet ...

It's certainly breezy here but that'll be brilliant for the washing.
