Hi folks, It was a fantastic day yesterday, despite the wind. There was a fledginging of the eldest chick and confirmed by the LG team.
Lots of wing exercising by all three, I think 4 fish were delivered, and intruder alets at times. In all, a normal day .
All quiet on the nest, the usual fidgiting going on.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

He is having so much fun flying away and back :)
Considering he took his first flight yesterday he is certainly doing well!!
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Just logged on to find that #1 is doing a flyabout and keeps landing on the camera post. I think that was it again that just flew off, sounded like a flight of feathers going. The other two are watching at where it goes and back it comes again onto the cam post. Its enjoying this.

Great catch !!
By the' way thanks for the updates and the great pics especially Joan's capturing part of #1's wing.
The two on the nest are preening and looking at the world. Are we assuming then, that they are all males???
Thanks Barbara Jean - sheer luck! Must go and do non-osprey things now ... back later.
He is quiet up there. I wonder if he is still on the camera post or went to a tree.
The center needs to activate the other camera with the zoom that is in the camera tree

Because they are so advanced Roy Dennis guessed they were all males . Males usually fledge sooner than females because they are lighter. I think #2 is a female. it was always larger than #1. But if Roy thinks they are all males I'll take him at his word.
The chick nearest us is doing some serious furniture rearranging, whilst the one farthest away is looking on.
Great fun and lots of action this morning - thanks for pics. I must go out now :-((
