Hi folks, It was a fantastic day yesterday, despite the wind. There was a fledginging of the eldest chick and confirmed by the LG team.
Lots of wing exercising by all three, I think 4 fish were delivered, and intruder alets at times. In all, a normal day .
All quiet on the nest, the usual fidgiting going on.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

The three home alone young ones are defending the nest against an intruder .... mantling and calling like they've seen EJ do ... intruder tried to land on the nest

How quick they learn DjoanS I was watching them and saw the intruder too. Don't think there has been any fish today or have I missed something.
Margobird
The two young ones on the right were up and mantling and shrieking, while the one on the left was playing dead. I can't tell the difference ... but perhaps the one on the left is the youngest?
Hello margobird - I haven't seen a fish delivered and haven't read any reports of it. BUT ... EJ obviously isn't around to defend the nest, so my guess is that she has gone fishing!
Afternoon all. Haven't seen any fish but also haven't had time to watch all the time. I think the three (two) brethren did excellent job telling that intruder to take a hike, especially #1 has quite a big voice :)

Afternoon auntie - you are right about #1 having a loud voice ... if I hadn't been watching I would have thought it was EJ :-)
I sure hope you are right DJoan and Auntiie - I just can't get used to them being all boys.- I just don't believe it so that's that. My intuition tells me something different. :)
Cirrus - my original prediction was boy/girl/boy ... only because, for a while, #2 was bigger than #1 ... and I always thought Titch was a boy! However, I'm not sure now ... and we will never know!
