Hi folks, It was a fantastic day yesterday, despite the wind. There was a fledginging of the eldest chick and confirmed by the LG team.
Lots of wing exercising by all three, I think 4 fish were delivered, and intruder alets at times. In all, a normal day .
All quiet on the nest, the usual fidgiting going on.
Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

Juves are eating fish by themselves at LoTL - would like to see Eldest here and the others have a go
Intruder is back ... that's right young ones ... get up and at it ... just like mum!

Youngest lying dogo whilst the other two defend against intruder again - Great stuff youngsters.
DJoan - we can ponder our own beliefs and opinions in our own hearts, can't we. I think you may very well be correct.
Intruder just flew past and two of them were shrieking away whilst the one at the back played dead. They've just had it pass over again and were shrieking like mad. They are on the alert.
Cirrus - I think its rather nice this year that everyone can be right and no-one proved wrong :-))
Jeepers !! I heard a Buzzard - but surely a Buzzard wouldn't buzz the nest ?? Excuse pun
I'm pretty sure from the view of the intruder that I got that it was an osprey
DjoanS and Cirrus I am sure it was an opsrey as you got a good view of it flying past.

#1 is thinking of going again, whoops missed takeoff. No , I'll just stay on the side for a bit longer. 2nd youngster is up and preening whilst the third one stays sitting.
Thanks DJoan and Margobird - Buzzard was obviously way off somewhere.
I'ts a long wait for food ! Since it's a work evening I'm going to eat now ..... later...
