Birdies LG DU update.
LOL Mike
The seasons seem to go so fast, so with that thought in mind hopefully the winter will go just as fast and then it won't be long until we are waiting full of excitement to see the return of the Ospreys and another productive season for them.

I was requested by a friend (you know who you are) to add some farewell music to this thread to say Good Bye to the Lowes Ospreys, so this is what I have come up with.

Roll on 2017 and may they both return safely.

Thank you Mary, a lovely video. It had me in tears also Starling, seeing Lady at the end was so lovely.
I randomly logged VLC onto LOTL this morning, and captured "Unseen dawn panic on the Loch of the Lowes":

And a super side-effect of coming here to post it was finding MARY's video - thank you so much, Mary :-* Can't think how I haven't seen it before, I'm supposed to be notified! >:(

A little later... at peace, no-one to be seen:
Admittedly lurking in the off-season, you still succeed in making me grin and CHOL, scylla! :D

Scylla, thanks for the vid! I wonder what disturbed the geese enough to cause the flaps and calling, but to calm down so quickly. Or was it time to fly off to get to their daytime grazing site. Fascinating.
It's a lovely day today and it looks as though the geese are still around.
