Well folks, its been a disappointing day in the fact that the three bairns will not be named, tagged or ringed but that has come from official lines as I hope all of you have seen and we have to acknowledge the expertise of the powers that be.Nevertheless, there has been a lot of wing exercising and mini flights on the nest during the course of the day. Not many fish were delivered, but hey, they have to get trim so they can fledge properly.
Paul, you will see that I have replied to you on the last of the posts for yesterday.
All at peace and sleeping with the odd plink plonk of what sounds like rain.!!!!!!!
Happy viewing and see you in the morning, night, night.

As someone else said ?yesterday? it looks af if one of them will be lifted off the nest, never mind fly off it!!
A windy nest, by the sounds on the microphone. All 3 still cuddled up together at the bottom of the nest.
EJ returned a minute or so ago, and all are waking up now... she is looking out expectantly towards Odins approach path....
this is eldest I think, having a stretch by Mums ear...
...now shes flown off again, they all watched her flying technique carefully....
Hello Lindybird, its quiet on the page but not at LG by the sound of it! Seems like they are having an afternoon nap (the ospreys not the bloggers although you never know!)
Hi Heather - I was off then, just having my lunch. (nap later!)
Come back to EJ on the nest & food calling:
EJ has been watching and calling for a while shes not happy
No, she's not, she's been mantling and yelling so its another threat of intruders.
EJ puts on her grumpy face "don't you dare mess with me and mine!"
All gone quiet again now.
