I don't remember ENS setting in so starkly, so early towards the end of the season as it did yesterday, when, after the breakfast fish were done with, there were no further sightings of an osprey on the nest until Odin paid a short, late evening visit* with a fish (piece)...
.
... just as EJ had done two evenings before - since when she has not been seen!
Presumably the Centre will issue a blog if they haven't seen her either - but maybe she's just fishing for herself and stopped catering for the children... or maybe she's been delivering to the trees. Most unusual not to have seen any more fish brought to the nest during the day.
*Thanks to BIRDIE for spotting Odin's visit.

Was just going to post the same Moffer ;-) Your captures will be a LOT clearer than mine, but will post anyway.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Good Morning all Willow has the fish now Great to know that beautiful EJ is still around
Hi Patilly.
Birdies LG DU update.
My mistake Rowan stillhas the fish but Willow crept u and got a big piece
I've been thru the whole morning up to Rowan's departure after breakfast, can't add much to BIRDIE's brilliant catch-up and it's just as well I don't need to because nearly all landings and takeoffs were buffered out >:(
Thank you, BIRDIE :-)

You did, MARY - and I'd have had it posted in time for your lunchtime check-in if I hadn't forgotten - looks like today is a seamless continuation of yesterday here :(
Video link - Daycam, sweet osprey voice, Rowan defending tagged on, plus Willow taking & eating Rowan's pink flesh ;-)
Alarm chirps - Odin.

SCYLLA - Thank You for your thoughts on finding the calls I had heard early on.
Catching up again, and trying to do something else at the same time, so using IPad, and for some reason I can see all the videos in the thread like we usually see them. So it's got to be something to do with the browsers as still cannot access on PC using IE, FF, Chrome. Very strange.
Thanks for all the posts and pics since I last checked in
Yay! Great to know Her Beautifulness is still in the building!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
