Considering I have been reduced to lurking by my faltering computer, the least I can do is start a new thread. :-/
Yesterday EJ demonstrated her legendary fishing prowess by providing two whales, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, supplemented by a half-fish from Odin. BNN posted a link to a fabulous photo by Andy Howard of EJ on her final approach towards her prey. click to enlarge
Can you imagine being the fish on the other end of that stare?!!
Sheila mentioned that the nest environs have that autumnal feel --- fitting since Monday was the cross-quarter between solstice and equinox, in the olden days considered the beginning of the season, or first day of harvest. Let's feast our eyes on the family before EJ is the first to depart later this month.

What a fabulous photo of our beloved matriarch. It seriously delayed me, following BIRDIE's link led me from one great picture to another to another... :-)
Dark and quiet now. My grocery delivery is nearly here.
IMAGICAT
Still very quiet, but getting much lighter:
DAYCAM 0457hr:
EJ with headless FISH @ 0458hr !!!!!!!!!!!!!
No-one on the way even?
Adjust one's position:
Mutter sotto voce:
Wait:
She's still waiting, chirping softly and repetitively.
Fancy no juvie being seen or even heard?! I had my volume up, I would have heard them.
Squealy sounds and someone flew over :-/
They were on the campost and it's ODIN now on the nest :-*
He looks wet (that was a momentary illusion).
EJ just flew.
Editing in video:
Juvie (EDIT - Willow) on the nest squalling - now it's too late! Odin ignoring ;-)
I have to take my time, will edit in later.
Juvie shouting and squealing now, Odin left, another juvie heard.
EDIT
Arrival of Willow (for it is he) - Odin leaves after a while - at the end the other juvie is just heard:
Bracing for inrush:
Just lost all my clips of Odin's arrival, due to "not responding" :(
Good morning MC. Clearly well refreshed!
Birdies LG DU update.
