VLC froze, I put Chrome on and had sound! Squeals and cries!

Nearly always good sound from Carnyx in browser, SHEILA - but more buffers :( VLC is good if you can keep your eyes firmly on it and keep restarting it when necessary - but difficult to spot a freeze/stop when there's no activity.
EJ back on the nest looking very mottled and chirping sweetly.
Can't capture the mottling I perceived :-/
Odin is alarm calling out there, and EJ is prepared on the nest.
