Morning all someone sitting
Copyright Rutland
Thanks, Everyone for the posts and pics.
Karen and Willow, Yes, we are definitely looking forward to our time up at Rutland. We'll go to Birdfair on the Friday (among other things, there is a talk on 20 years of Rutland Osprey Project then) and possibly go to the fair again on the Sunday. We also have the week after the fair to see the Ospreys and we also plan to visit other reserves as well as doing a few touristy things.
Kind regards, Ann

Birdies LG DU update.
Chick on the backof the nest Is that T6?
All I can say Patily is it her classic position and pose so I'd guess it was.

Looks like T8 on the nest calling for fish
Latest update from Kayleigh .... A Fair Point
I see Kayleigh briefly mentions there has been 15 youngsters raised at Rutland this season ... three at MB and 12 at surrounding nests. Hopefully we will get more information about them or perhaps we have and I've missed it.
I often wonder what happened to 53(11) 51(11) and 3J. It was a great pity those EGs were around and disturbed them in their first year.
Good evening all. Brilliant pics and updates from you all as usual! Karen I too wonder about 51(11) I think its 51 not sure though! AND 3j had some hopes for them as they could have been successful :)
15 younsters is good going! I wonder if Rutland Water has reached saturation point regarding population of ospreys? Those Egyptian geese are a bit of a pest!
Gardenbirder sounds like you are in for a treat! We stayed in a lovely B&B right near the edge of the reservoir and cycled all around it. Really great holiday the ospreys being the massive high light!

You're right Willow, it is 51. I've edited the post. Thanks :-)
Yes it was a real shame for them, I do hope we hear what became of them.
