Morning Mike
W7 on nest being buffeted.
All 4 and big fish on the nest. Aran seems to have control
Not any more!. W8 has it with Mrs G and W7 standing in the wings!
Birdies LG DU update.
Good Morning MIKE KATE and LMAC W8 has the fish now and Aran has flown W7 and Mrs G standing on the side but W7 is having trouble standing in the wind
Looks like there will be plenty for all as long as Mrs G stays to feed w7 who seems yet again caught in nesting material. What's your view on her Mike with your osprey experience.
Off dog walking and then work hopefully in between these tasks I will see that w7 has eaten
Lmac. I, like many others, have never seen a situation like this before. You will see that at 5 35 she was flying and perching but still has a problem with her right leg. She performs these strange manoeuvres as if about to 'fire a laser' but they are quite different in that she will do it three or four times in a row and then stretch her right leg. It is as if she is trying to relieve or correct something? It was particularly noticeable a few days ago but she did it again this morning. Personally I think it might be a dislocation. Frankly I don't think anyone knows.
Lmac. As I look back she is doing that 'procedure' again but not stretching the leg.
Morning patily and all(again)
Mrs G still waiting on side. W7 still cannot retract talon, that gets caught in the dead grasses. She is such a little fighter bless, and at least Mrs G appears(in our human thinking) appears to be aware that there is something wrong, was interesting though(uncomfortable) watching last evenings feed, Mrs G trying to help her free her caught foot, by being just out of reach, encouraging W7 to work at releasing foot .
W7 now in centre of nest squatting down.
There is no sound but W7 seems to be shouting off and on
