Yesterday brought 4 large fish, 2 from each parent, so lots of nest activity. Both EJ and Odin are seen tidying up the nest now, rather like starting to close up the summer cottage for the season (or should I say Love Shack hehe). All of us are especially enjoying this perfect Loch Garten nest this year, as we well know how things can and have gone sour so easily. Here is the obligatory nest shot for this morning for later comparisons.
Forgot to add that after returning from days away, it is harder for me to tell the difference between R & W now.

And there's been a little bird trying to compete with Willow - don't bother, little bird, you cannot compete ;-)

Good Morning SCYLLA Willow and Rowan (off stage) both in fine voice
I keep getting seized up here :-(
Odin's second visit with another small stick, he's followed in by shouting Willow (as I type I can hear Rowan shouting too). He leaves, Willow is still on the nest, most indignant.
I have to leave the room for a while, BBL, as MOFFER would say :-)
I leave you with Willow on the nest and Sib on the way? Sounds like it every now and then but no-one turns up.
That took longer than expected, I thought I had pre-prepared everything but my can opener didn't work ;-)
Hoped I heard a fish delivery but both juvies are on the nest fishless... one's left... need to replay.
Good morning, all. One of the boys is clearly waiting for his breakfast:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
No fish, just Rowan arrived and joined in shouting, then Willow left:
Hi CLARE
Good morning, CLARE! I leave the birds and the forum in your capable hands (till MARY arrives, hopefully) while I eat dinner rather late :o
Dinner?????????
I haven't got too long, sadly (well it's not sad that I'll be off to work today but you know what I mean).
He has flown.
