Hello everyone,we have had a mixed day here at LG. Weather has been mixed but unfortunately no ringing, tagging and naming took place. We are still awaiting official word of when and if they are going to go ahead this year. As far as we know they will be R&T and naming them but when that will be is anyones guess. We will have to wait for the official confirmation and just be patient that bit longer.
The three are a bit restless, stretches, fidgiting, but at present are sitting low in the nest. Do take a look at ChrissyB's photo's in yesterdays blogs. Apologies if I've got the name wrong, I'm doing my best to remember who posted them.
After saying they were sleeping two are now up and wing exercising whilst one stays firmly sitting
Happy viewing and we await with anticipation what the morning will bring.

I love it when they chirp as they flap their wings as if to say "Look at me. I can almost fly !!"
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Heard a lot of flapping and could've sworn that was EJ when I looked, but no! Just a giant chick, possbily wondering about room service....

Annette. #1 is flapping it's wings. Look how much it's face looks like EJ 's
#3 in the miiddle has almost no white on the top of it's head and a side view of it's head shows it is more almond shaped like Odin's
#2 is on the end I can see the extra white on it's head
Hee hee - look at those tail feathers on the other two chicks fluffing up in the breeze caused by all that flapping. One has got up, clearly no rest with that breeze up its bottom! :-)
That's an absolutely fantastically brilliant post, Annette. Took me ages to stop laughing LOL. Have you any idea what the movie you're "watching" is about now? ;-)

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Barbara Jean: Yes, #1 resembles EJ big time; now it's moving furniture. I see what you mean about the white on #2's head. It's easier to compare when they're all still and facing the same way.
Heron: Sexy Clive Owen is in the movie and they were shooting up the Guggenheim Museum in NY, but now they're all chasing each other down the back alleys of some city in the Middle East. I think I'll have to postpone serious telly watching until these chicks have fledged...
Amazing osprey sound there. Those youngsters are certainly talented. I reckon it comes from the parents. :-)
'Scuse off-topic folks: Heron: Movie was "The International" about banking fraud, etc. . (The real financial meltdown wasn't anywhere near as action packed!)
Lazy kids are preening in bed. LOL
