  • Morning all, thanks as always to the night staff who have kept us entertained with their updates etc and for the pics. Looks OK weatherwise at the moment, two are sitting, one is standing close to the edge camera side, EJ is doing her impression of looking "out to sea".  Here's looking at you.

  • Sorry, Soosin - have just re read my last post &  it gave the impression that there had not been any fish yet today. They are hungry though, & have been muttering and echoing Mum's food calls for a while.

-- now I've put that, can hear that its all gone very quiet!

  • No worries Linda, I should read back before posting anyway lol   (as OH would say, you just dive right in there, without reading all the facts!!!!!!)

All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

  • #1 chick's fledging is drawing nigh, 50 days old today, fledging 'window' 53 to 55 days, lets assume.....so less than 72 hours, to the start of said window.....if we make another assumption that fledging is not likely until after breakfast has been served.

'Scuse off-topic folks: Heron: Movie was "The International" about banking fraud, etc. . (The real financial meltdown wasn't anywhere near as action packed!)

I enjoyed that movie too. As you say, Clive Owen is well woth watching :)

3 osprey chicks now up and preening.

  • Good morning all and thanks to the night shift for pics and news during the night and also the morning shift for some wonderful pics.  Have only just logged in as have had to do some jobs this morning.  as I type there is again some strong wing flapping going on accompanies by little squeaks of delight.  I see that 1 fish has been delivered earlier on but think they are all hoping once comes in soon courtesty of EJ or Odin.  I have to say now that when EJ is on the nest you can see how big the youngsters are.  Sometimes hard to pick her out.  The humerous banter has made me laugh this morning.  What we try to do to watch ospreys.  multi-tasking at it's best.

Hope there will be some news about R&T soon and I am just hoping they will be able to do it.

Off now to catch up with other blogs.

    Have a good day all.
