A fish fest! Aran is eating a fish - brown trout? - and another large tail end lies on the nest. Mrs G is on nest watch, and the youngsters are clearly full!

Aran has gutted the fish, and cast the innards aside on the nest! Ugh!
For those who do not have access to FB this is the brief information about the ringing, carried out yesterday evening (time not specified)
"The 2016 Glaslyn Osprey chicks were ringed yesterday evening (Sunday 3 July 2016).
The elder chick is a female, ring number W7, weighing 1650 grammes.
The younger chick is male, ring number W8, weighing 1300 grammes."
Edit: This is the link to the short blog, with a photo
Is there a steam railway nearby? There was a long steam whistle which caught the attention of both Aran and Mrs G, but particularly Aran. The snip was not taken at the time. Aran continues to eat his fish, the GEMs are zonked! Another whistle, but neither adult was bothered this time.
11.03
11.05 and a third whistle, and Aran looked up once more.
11.07 another louder whistle. Again Aran looks up
Clearly fish eating takes priority
I can now hear a train, chuff, chuffing. Aran looks. Is it unusual to be able to hear a train? I have not watched the Glaslyn nest much this season.
Another whistle
Mrs G and Aran have flown (I didn't see them leave). Cam is panning the area, and settled back on the nest with W7 & W8 still lying down.
11.57 A brief alarm call from off the nest. Youngsters still home alone. The cloud seems to have come down
12.29 Blue W7(16) showing off her bling
The wind has got up now.
13.49 Blue W7(16) gets into a flap and has a go at a stick
Mrs G has been on the perch, almost out of sight, but flew off, and the kids hit the deck
13.53 Mrs G returned
Don't mess with me and my nest!
13,58 Mrs G has gone back to her perch
Is this her view?
13.59 Back to the nest. The GEMs are calling, but given there are still two tail ends on the nest, I am not sure why!
