Some rain and some sun. Four fish, and all's well for our well-fed family. Odin was spotted fishing at Aviemore yesterday, competing with a squadron of other osprey before the rain. Amazing how EJ ignores the pecks from her offspring with aplomb, to return to sheltering them from weather and overnight. Here she is dozing and keeping watch.

EJ has gone now, thank goodness for sound, you can hear the wing beats then she just morphs off the nest :-)

A lovely early morning glow all around. Odin is going to have a nice flight into Aviemore this morning :-)
Morning just to let you know Odin arrived on the camera tree around 04.13 and sat near EJ . She flew to nest briefly but Odin left and EJ is now on the camera tree alone .

It does look a bit breezy though.
It must be lovely for the volunteers to witness not only EJ and family, but also some beautiful early mornings like this, when all that can be heard is nature all around. I can imagine being in Abernethy just now seeing the sun come up. :-)
Valerie your post wasn't there when I posted, and I wondered if you were still at LG, talk about telepathy LOL....
Thanks for the on-the-spot reports.
Oh it just gets gorgouser and gorgouser LOL.....
Just a "Moment in Time"
That is a right old grassy patch on the left hand side of the nest, where is Richard with his big shears now! LOL Edit: Enjoying his retirement more than likely,
Sun has gone now, EJ flies to the nest and they all look up, Odin arrives with fish.
Delightful sounds coming from the nest now :-)
It looks like an EJ Whopper so should keep them going for a wee while.
I think it is Willow who isn't that much bothered about breakfast.
