HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's Chat thread is here.

This will be the first Full Moon to fall on the June Solstice since 1967 -- the Summer of Love! -- according to EarthSky. Other sources say it hasn't happened since 1948.The Slooh Observatory will host an online live streaming special dedicated to the Solstice and Full Moon combination event.Everyone have a wonderful week!
ANNETTE - Do you mean redundancy payouts? If so, yes, but the payout is calculated on how long the employee has worked for the company. In SiL's case, he has only worked for them for 2+ years. Yes, they are offering voluntary redundancy but he wouldn't get much because of his short length of service.
Regarding Brexit - OH is watching the FTSE100 carefully since that is where our capital resides! We have voted but it seems a close call at the moment.
OG Good news about J
We had a good walk at L an E this morning and yes we did stop off at MC first and indulged in a great brekkie.
Heather: Yes, that's what I was talking about, but 2+ years obviously won't bring much. I assume he's already looking around and that daughter is nervous as you anticipated...
LINDY poor Bonnie but good news she didn't attack her stitches. Benson had to wear a lampshade for over 2 weeks (both day and night ) when he had his eye op.
HEATHER Sorry to hear the news of S in Ls job.
Yes,ANNETTE, daughter's reaction as anticipated. He is looking for another job. A friend works in Saudi Arabia. Good money but three months away at a time. Just have to wait and see....
Hi. Been thinking of AQ and the op, DIANE and the project, LINDA and the decorating. Sorry HEATHER's family's uncertainty continues. Good to hear from everyone.
Been to Rutland Water today to see Manton Bay Ospreys - golly, those chicks are growing - now appearing above the nest and flapping wings! Leisurely start to the day, then lovely country drive - successfully followed a diversion but then nearly got lost, but found the lunch stop we were aiming for. Ended our time at RW with an Italian dinner there and used main road to come back to the farm - and now charging my scooter.
Will stop at that as I am bending over my large dinner to type! Best to all.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Pleased that you are enjoying yourself so much, with good food too, OG.
Have a good time, OG!
Hello all, not forgotten you, just not had a lot to say. Looked through quickly. Do hope Margo - that you are feeling a little better, thoughts are with you.
Lindy - love your pics of the garden flowers and of Bonnie with her collar on, but couldn't keep it on, oh dear. Well at least she didn't interfere with her scar. See that your OH played crown green bowls for a while - my brother plays CGB and is in various leagues with different teams, keeps him sane as he is no nearer with getting the house fixed, over six months now.
OG - see you are down in my neck of the woods, well almost. Hope you are enjoying your break in Rutland.
HeatherB - that must be of concern re SiL possible redundancy and the rest of the team. Do hope things can be resolved.
Managed the gym this morning but not going on Thursday as we have to take our other cat, Misty, for bloods re her underactive thyroid problem - apparently every 6months to see whether she is on the right dose. OH picked up his new car on Monday, that is new to us, but only 2 years older than our previous one.
Annette, Diane, AQ, hope all is well with you over the water.

Heather: Well, the very best luck to your Sil! Do you know how much competition there is in that field?
OG: Sounds very relaxing. :-)
Lynette: Don't stay away coz you feel you have not a lot to say - that doesn't stop the rest of us! :-) How do you like the new car?
AQ: If you're reading, hugs to you!
Watched part of the Brexit debate this evening. What with that and our election, it's turning out to be an interesting summer (scary summer?). Our weather has cooled a lot and the fire is well under control now, but apparently there's a big one down in LA.
