Chicks all asleep in a huddle on the edge of the nest watched over by Maya One chick using the sticks as a pillow

And 2 chicks have woken up and are grooming

Its the "Steam Room" look at Rutland again this morning!

Hi Mary, again, I can just make out on the wide angle that there is a feed taking place. That camera seems to clear quicker for some reason?

What is causing this?

Hi Patily. It is the mist/humidity over the water on days like this when the weather conditions bring about such a contrast between the land and water temperature. This is the only set up which is actually in the middle of water unlike the others which we all watch.

I've just looked back and the W/A is almost clear and the main one is getting better. You can see the sun rising which is obviously helping.

Chicks sunbathing. Mum is not an umbrella.

Camera glary at the moment but May is standing  with the chicks snuggled down. No doubt waiting for breakfast delivery.
