More intrusions yesterday, no serious problem. Plenty of fish.
In case you didn't see this from the LG Blog - post-preen Odin the Magnificent:
I had to go thru twice to find a flyabout, and the only one I found had no lovely wings, just like last night, she's being glitched out:
She's the tiny silvery flame in the sky:
Looked as tho she'd had her feathers in curlers:
Lovely to see some hinterland at night:
IMAGICAT
Couldn't get both to sit still at the same time!
Wow! That was powerful :o
A deserved rest:
#2 just be keeping a low profile.
Lovely variegation, even in monochrome:
EJ and #1 both looking in the same direction:
DAYCAM 0412hr:
Quite a nice day?
Male cuckoo has been calling for a couple of minutes.
Very quiet indeed now. Coffee time.
Good Morning Scylla and to all who follow :-)
Thank You for starting us off and for all your overnight posts and pics.
The thought of EJ with her curlers in makes me chuckle.
She is looking rather uncomfortable at the moment, trying to keep the GEMs under her.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Good morning, MARY :-) Love the "oil paintings" of EJ.
Good morning all.
Birdies LG DU update.
Yes we have to console ourselves with "oil paintings" of the beautiful EJ Scylla. LOL
Good Morning Mike.....
I am positive the GEM's grow overnight :-)
Have a good day everyone, watching over EJ and Odin and the two GEM's... you all do a sterling job of reporting on them.
I have to mention that I overheard Sarah replying to someone who enquired about the nest being monitored during the night, she explained about the volunteers in the forward hide and then said, the on line webcam viewers also monitor the nest 24/7 which is another deterrent. :-)
