For the early-to-bed day-folks, Odin brought a whopper last night but was spurned. Snaps and video tagged onto yesterday's DU.
Intrusions yesterday, dealt with by Odin and EJ. Infants well fed, #1 started exploring!
EJ took an early break after midnight, but, heartbreakingly ;-) wings were frozen out :'(
There she goes!
Here she comes!
EJ seems to have had her head buried in her chicks a lot of the time, but her activities have been a series of stills.

I hate to say this, Scylla, but I'm off to work shortly. I'm glad I got the chance to feast my eyes on His Gorgeousness, as well as His Gorgeous Montyness!!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning all. Thank you Scylla for starting the day, and the early posts. What a great fish late last night. Thanks also to Mary, Mike and Clare for their posts this morning. I will be here for an hour or so, but I must get on a finish painting the fence.
EJ sits.

EJ is calling gently
EJ starts a feed from the fish tail, with much chirruping :) Both chicks ate, but they were not ravenous
EJ finishes the tailfin, and settles down.
Good morning everyone. Since the shutdown and reopening of the forum I have to sign in every time I want to contribute!!!! Hence my silence. I have been lazily enjoying what all you wonderful people have been posting. Thank you so much. I am happy that Odin is fishing so frequently and that the little ones are both being fed. Any intruders are being firmly driven away quite quickly. It even seems to be better weather at LG just now too!

Morning Rusty and Limpy. EJ tries to cover the chicks
EJ was watching someone.
It came to nothing.
Morning Moffer.
