Hi everyone.
Can't believe how fast this evening has flown in. Well yestarday was an exciting day with fish deliveries in the wind, intruders being swiftly dealt with, and the youngsters getting closer to making their first flight. Especially when one levetated several inches above the nest. Wonderful stuff. Can't wait to see what tommorrow brings. :-)

EJ tried to take the small piece of remaining fish but chick looked as though it tried to take a peck at EJ.
Yes Pharazon - lots of trouble with the tail ... but the chick stopped for a moment or two and EJ went to take it ... and was given "the look" and she backed off!!

How funny! - thanks for that set of posts - I was on the phone....
Now we are trying to be like Mum on the side of the nest....
To anyone new on this site, this looks like two adult birds.............
Isn't it a lovely site - eldest one(I think) standing with mum, the other two lying down.

We all had the same idea with the above pic. Thanks for the clip, Alan.
Yes Lynette, but it is a lovely picture. Just wish I knew for sure, which chick it is.
Good morning all have only just logged on as I had to go out this morning. Thought that I was sure to miss the ringing and tagging but once again it is probably too windy. Pleased that i have not missed it anyway. Looked to seeEJ and what I thought was Odin sitting together but obviously from the post it was one of the youngsters who is almost as large as EJ. Pleased to see 2 fish delivered and one of the young ones fed itself and let another one have a taste. Still no fighting between them yet, all seem very civilised this year but I know it might change once they are all feeding themselves.
Now going to catch up with the rest of yesterday's posts etc but thanks to all for the pics and commentary.

I was imagining it was No 1, as there's not much white on the face, as in No. 2....
EJ has left the nest but for a minute I thought one of the youngsters had untill I looked again. Now all three are settling down.
