Hi everyone.
Can't believe how fast this evening has flown in. Well yestarday was an exciting day with fish deliveries in the wind, intruders being swiftly dealt with, and the youngsters getting closer to making their first flight. Especially when one levetated several inches above the nest. Wonderful stuff. Can't wait to see what tommorrow brings. :-)

So she is, missed the delivery, was out of the room. The other two are looking on.

i almost feel as if the other chicks should be more agressive.. they''re just sitting there watching
I find it so surprising that this year's chicks just leave the chick with the fish and don't attempt to steal it. They look as though they are waiting to be fed by #1 ? at the moment
Help please. I have been looking for the LG webpage, that has the details and history of EJ and Odin, so that I can add these to my Chicks Stats as parents. It lists the birds and chicks, over the years.

jsb - its on the main blog page ... on the right hand side ... just scroll down and you'll find it
JSB, it is on the right of the Diary Page.
DjoanS, thanks, I've got it.
Great to come on and see one of the youngsters feeding themselves. EJ is just 'supervising' - surprised though, as last years brood would have fought over the fish!
looks like one of the others has now managed to get a bit of the fish; either that or it's eating some moss
