Hi everyone.
Can't believe how fast this evening has flown in. Well yestarday was an exciting day with fish deliveries in the wind, intruders being swiftly dealt with, and the youngsters getting closer to making their first flight. Especially when one levetated several inches above the nest. Wonderful stuff. Can't wait to see what tommorrow brings. :-)

EJ has flown in. She is calling. Quite windy. One of the GEMs pooped and it blew towards EJ. Ah, now she has flownoff. Soft feathers flying in breeze.
I'm signing off now. GEMs lying low as wind is very strong.
Morning all. Some more wingcercise - one GEM jumped on another, as if intending to mate - sure it was an accident!
I saw the leaping about, patriciat! : As I came on, EJ was just flying off & they all looked at her leaving with 'wing envy', as if they would love to be able to fly, too....
"Did you see that" - "Did I see what?" - "She's trying to fly like Mum!"
After all that excitement, they are now sleeping in formation again....
EJ just landed softly, so as not to wake the sleeping GEM's ....unfortunately, she can't resist some furniture rearranging, so will probably wake them anyway....
She is doing her 'regal' impression and looking all around....
---- isn't she just beautiful??

Hi Wattle :-)
I had a look and as far as I can see you can only delete your own posts but can't delete your own threads. I was actually thinking about deleting this thread, when I noticed Lynette had replied to it.
Back on topic. The three GEMs are snoozing quite peacefully between periods of waking up for a preen.

Morning all ... thanks for overnight and morning reports. Seems windy still at LG. I had to count the bodies to work out which was EJ ... hard to tell at first glance!
