Hi everyone.
Can't believe how fast this evening has flown in. Well yestarday was an exciting day with fish deliveries in the wind, intruders being swiftly dealt with, and the youngsters getting closer to making their first flight. Especially when one levetated several inches above the nest. Wonderful stuff. Can't wait to see what tommorrow brings. :-)

Here is the 'fish exchange' : EDIT - No its not! I thought I might have captured Odins transfer to EJ but now I can see that's a hungry GEM!!!
Odin's on his way .... EJ did her traffic controller walk ... not that there's much room to do it now! She grabbed the fish again and is doling it out to anyone who is interested .... which is only one at the moment.

Hello all,
Been away for the weekend, playing up at the Newcastleton Traditional Music Festival.
I see the young 'ens are testing their wings, and occasionally take-off ability, more than ever now. Surely it can't be long before fledging. Here's a clip of more 'wingercising' as you seem to call it now, with a brief take-off:

Funny that they are not so interested today - makes me wonder again if we have not missed a fish, somewhere.
Thanks, "Robert the B" - that works OK now, although I'm not going to watch it just yet as busy watching the live feed just now. :-)
Only one chck is seriously interested in food ... one lying down watching, the other flapping ... and nearly took off. I thought for a moment that the wind was going to take it away ... quite scary!
Think they are all working up to not being left out, now:
Three golden heads in a row, with Titch at the top, this time:
caught up with what's been happening. Pics are good too. Maybe they are not eating much because they are so full and heavy. Wind is back with a vengence, EJ doing her guarding and the three just resting.

Has anyone any idea what the wind speed is at LG? It all looks and sounds fearsome. EJ sseems to be hannging on for dear life with the chicks very sensibly hunkered down in the nest. Poor Odin, trying to fish in this and then fly back to the nest with his catch.
