Hi everyone.
Can't believe how fast this evening has flown in. Well yestarday was an exciting day with fish deliveries in the wind, intruders being swiftly dealt with, and the youngsters getting closer to making their first flight. Especially when one levetated several inches above the nest. Wonderful stuff. Can't wait to see what tommorrow brings. :-)

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Thanks Joan/Linda for the explanation. Sounds perfect to me:)
2 flat out and 1 wondering around at the moment
Hello all,
Been away for the weekend, playing up at the Newcastleton Traditional Music Festival.
I see the young 'ens are testing their wings, and occasionally take-off ability, more than ever now. Surely it can't be long before fledging. Here's a clip of more 'wingercising' as you seem to call it now, with a brief take-off:

Hi Robert: Thanks for posting clip, but it won't work for me :-(
(we are worried that if they don't ring them soon, at this rate, they will be off!)
Been doing other things so have just caught up. Like the captures and captions on the pics. The older one is mouching about the nest at the moment. EJ must have gone for a break or gone fishing.
The weather forecaste for up there is not brilliant for the rest of today but there should be a window in the weather (as the main blog reported ) tomorrow so lets hope they can do the ringing and tagging then.
The other two siblings are sleeping.

the eldest one having a look at whats going on out there!
Hello Lynette as Lindybird has said it is to hoped they can do the ringing and tagging tomorrow otherwise they are going to be off. Spent quite a while watching them testing their flying equipment this afternoon. If tomorrow is the day I am probably going to miss it. Got an appointment at 9.30 to have hearing aid fitted.
Must have been a comfort break as she's back. And EJ is off again.

Back comes EJ fishless and stickless and proceeds to go amongst them to the barrier. Is now trying to move a large stick and disturbing them. They are not best pleased or at least one isn't. Move over mum, you're in our space.
Didn't stay long , off she goes again. Got to go and do things will catch up later.
