Happy Independence Day America. (hope I've got my history right)
It was a very gusty day at LG. What with EJ having difficulty landing earlier on that day and trying to keep on the nest when she was there. Lots of wing flapping exercises, one nearly took off but not quite. To top it all it started to rain.
EJ is right on the edge of the nest and has now taken off , probably going to her roost tree. Earlier she brought in a very large trout and just before that Odin had brought in a fish and left it for the youngsters. One did try to feed itself and then when mum came back with hers, abandoned it and went to mum for a feed. In all an entertaining day watching these incredible birds.
Happy viewing and we'll see what today brings. Night, night.

We need windscreen wipers on the camera lens today!

Rain on the lens of both the webcam and the still cam:
We sure do DjoanS :o) there was a large drop of rain on the camera lens where Odins head was when he dropped off the last fish, his head was all distorted, looked wierd :o)
Fish demolished in record time I think and EJ is calling for more.
rain seems to have stopped for the moment and camera lens is clearer.
EJ & 3 hungry GEM's still, on the nest:
Dont think that fish was very big Lindybird, EJ calling to Odin again already so they must still be hungry. Not the best weather for fishing today, looks like Odin mite be in for some nagging today! :o)
Looks like its dry at the moment :o)
EJ seems to be telling Odin to go fishing ... he must be lurking nearby! He should lurk out of sight if he wants a rest :-)
