EJ just left the nest a few moments ago to go and roost. All quite at the nest with two of the youngsters snoozing and one doing some wing stretching.

Hi Heron: Thanks for starting the new thread! I didn't notice any bad spelling or atrocious grammar. Been busy all day; hoping to settle down for a bit and concentrate on ospreys!
Have had frustrating time getting on this evening. Webcam is okay, but not update/chat threads. All quiet right now; monster chicks fast asleep. Let's hope I can continue to log fish deliveries!
Finally! Odin brought first fish of the day at 5 a.m. EJ didn't serve it up immediately; seemed to be watching something after he left. As usual, one chick was busy flapping. At one point it was jumping up and down on someone else's tail (not Titch's since we all know Titch would complain loudly). I think Titch ate first and has now finished; other two are eating. Looks breezy again today.
Signing off; One fish so far today, courtesy of Odin. EJ off somewhere; chicks snoozing. Hope the site cooperates Friday!
THANKS Annette for getting on and lettingus know about the fish delivery .
I have tried to post a couple of times and the site goes down on me .
Let's hope someone at the center fixes the problems when they get in.

there was a 2nd fish @ 7:20 delived by Odin. All chicks were interested in it.....
the problems with the site are not at LG.. it's obviously to do with the RSBP community site, as the whole community is going down..
nothing LG can do about it, apart from telling the RSPB to get onto their service provider
Morning. Last night I couldn't get these pages - but I could get the webcam.
This morning I can't get the webcam, but I can get these pages....
Thanks to all the above for fish reports, lets hope they can sort out the glitches here, soon.
I have, however, got the stills camera, here are the GEM's this morning, having a preen in the sun:
EJ came to the nest and #2 tried twice to take a poke at her. Naughty bird! EJ flew off
Then my heart was in my mouth when either #1 or #3 (I could not tell who) was flapping it's wings and jumped up on EJ's favorite perch on the right. I was afraid with the wind it may fall.
Thankfully it got down from the perch. This would be the first itme it has clung to a branch rather than standing flat footed on the nest. Maybe the new sensation made it get down .
Morning all ... thanks for fish news .... taken ages to get on here! I have the live webcam, but the rest is very iffy. GEMs are lazing in the sunshine.
