Hi folks, can't say I've seen much action yesterday as I was in and out all day. Not sure how many fish were delivered but I believe fish were left on the nest for the youngsters to try and feed themselves. A valuable lesson to be learned, but whether it succeeded or not, not sure.
At present our teenagers are fairly inactive. EJ is probably roosting nearbye as the nest is getting overcrowded with their huge sizes
Happy viewing to all our overseas watchers, and to the homies, see you in the morning.

Thanks this is very helpful. I keep thinking they are closer to fledging, but it looks like it will not happen for another 2 weeks. Thats good. !! I selfishly want to have more time to watch them
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Ej has a fish and I didn't hear Odin come in so she must have gone fishing in this wind. Nothing stops that lady !!
Just been having a quick check through the overnight posts ... and I missed the fish delivery!

Morning. Came on to find a fish Fest going on, so presume that's # 2 fish today, after a quick look back over the posts. Thanks to all the Night shift.
Here they are tucking in:
Hi Joan. I was just squinting at the screen, and trying to get a pic of them, when my Milkman came for his weekly money - aargh!
Feeding time at 8:30. It is blowing a gale up there.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
It does sound windy, Sandra. Thanks to jsb for stats.
Only two GEM's eating now, the other one hanging back having had some, but not really hungry.
Morning Lindybird and Sandra and Barbara Jean! I see there's still one eating, one flapping and one resting :-)
All gone quiet now - chickies all Home Alone as EJ takes a break from that noise, three is too many!
Can hear the wind through the trees, sounds like they are in for a breezy day today.
EDIT: See there are still problems with the site - all our avatars are not showing, and its still a little slow (drove me mad yesterday, like running up the down escalator)

Hi BJ, this is where I got the 55 days figure from. I was actually looking for more information about what may have caused Lady's poor health, from the Friday, of the week before last. I spoke to LotL (about my membership) yesterday and was told that, the reasons for her illness are still being considered.
Back to the fledging at LG, assuming the weather is favourable, my own guess is that one or all may fledge sooner, but, we will have to wait and see.
