Hi folks, can't say I've seen much action yesterday as I was in and out all day. Not sure how many fish were delivered but I believe fish were left on the nest for the youngsters to try and feed themselves. A valuable lesson to be learned, but whether it succeeded or not, not sure.
At present our teenagers are fairly inactive. EJ is probably roosting nearbye as the nest is getting overcrowded with their huge sizes
Happy viewing to all our overseas watchers, and to the homies, see you in the morning.

Hi folks. Couldn't get onto the internet earlier, so thanks for the updates and pics. Shopping mission now, so please keep the inffo coming!
Rather you than me Patriciat - enjoy !
Cirrus: I think the satellite tracking is quite complex to arrange, apart from the cost and lead time on ordering the equipment, RSPB will probably have to arrange a contract for about three or four years per bird, with the satellite company Argos, well in advance and may well have a problem if they had fewer birds than they had arranged to track. I look on the success that EJ is having as wonderful, and she and Odin as well as us mere humans, have a lot to be thankful for, a jolly good show for all.

Hello All, thanks for all the news and pictures. Not sure if I can catch up with all your postings for the past 10 days, but the biggest shock is the size of the chicks, ( young adults).
Good morning all and thanks for all the news and pics posted yesterday. Have just caught up. Go away for a day and come back to find that the mini ospreys had their first attempt at dealing with a fish. They also look even bigger today. EJ away at the moment and children all hunkered down on the nest together. Don't think it is raining but sounds incredibly windy. Might make it difficult for fishing today although I am sure as ever that EJ will catch one whatever the weather. Really looking forward now the ringing, tagging and finding out whether male or female. Hard to be3lieve now that it is not long until they fledge and we reach the time when we worry about their first take off and landing. Once they accomplish this then they will not be in tnhe nest so much probably just visiting for a meal when one is delivered.
