Hi everyone, last day of June already. I have just been looking at my pics of when they were first born backend of May, from three tinies to three huge young ospreys, the rate of growth in a month seems phenomenal.
Anyhow on to yesterday, A more or less routine day with the three getting up to their usual antics and EJ keeping a motherly eye on them most of the time. She did leave the nest on occasions for longer periods, one to go fishing and bring back a whopper, round about teatime this was.
All three are resting with fidgiting and wing stretching inbetween. EJ must be on her roost tree nearbye as she isn't on the nest.
I am signing off now, see you in the morning. Happy viewing.

Laying down and panting now, as its getting hot on that nest. EJ looking over her shoulder at something she's mildly interested in...

You are right Lindybird it made me smile when they tried to have a scratch and just fell over. Hoping there will be a fish before I have to log out and get ready.

Inturder alert again.
I was on the 'phone when I heard shouting.... all seems OK now, so perhaps the drama has passed.
Here is EJ looking out at whatever it was that alarmed her.....
All quiet on the nest. One preening, the other two flaked out. Mum on the edge looking out at the world.
Morning all and thanks for all the overnight and early morning reporting and pics. Juveniles are looking great this morning and cant wait for them to be named so we can identify them as individuals.
Still waiting for a fish but all quiet.
Just to let you know LOtL cam on and Lady feeding chicks (sorry wrong blog just wanted to let all know).
Thanks, margobird.
Can't wait to see them in their 'bling' Alan, and the naming will be interesting (not to mention knowing at last which sex they are).
All excited and why, in comes Odin with a FISH
Also intruder around as he makes alarm calls. It just flew over the nest. EJ is shouting and mantling as well and won't start feeding them till the danger has passed.
