Hi everyone,
Its been an uneventful day except that EJ went fishing for the first time since the chicks came along and brought back a whopper of a fish. I believe there was a total of 8 brought to the nest but will be corrected if I am wrong.
Two of our young ospreys were preening but now only one who has got up and is still at it. The other two are asleep.
Nearly the end of June already and look how they've grown!!
Enjoy the night viewing wherever you are. Night, night.

That crossed my mind Cirrus.. EJ would not have wanted Odin to know she had been fishing in case he thought he could have a bit of rest from his daily duties. See we are up to fish 4 now. Still sounds very windy at LG. The mini ospreys are all in a big heap at the moment and one having a bit of a moan, probably because one of it's siblings covered it with one of his wings.
Margobird
Back on again and I open to see a serene nest, younguns dozing and mum watching.
One young one is up and scratching and another is chirping away. Third one just stretched its wing over the other two.
Two get up, stretch and then watch mum fly off. Careful, don't take off just yet.
Another one just had a wing flap exercise, both are now settling down again , whilst one keeps on dozing.
Morning all. A quick hallo and thanks before I zip off for the best part of the day; then book club here tonight so may not be back until later this evening (our time). Happy viewing. Will be interested to see if EJ goes fishing again.
Something's caught the eyes of two of the youngsters. Is it Odin calling or EJ or a different bird. Now the third one wakes and is listening and watching too.
I wonder if EJ has gone fishing again.
Its got windier, if anything. Here is EJ with the wind blowing her 'hair' about:
all very content at the moment. One of the chicks being vocal, the others resting from their hard day:)
Thanks for all the pictures everyone.
EJ back on nest. One of the youngsters just spread its wing over another sibling who looked at it as if to say "hey buddy mind me"
Now all three settled down again and mum ever hopeful.
