Hi everyone,
Its been an uneventful day except that EJ went fishing for the first time since the chicks came along and brought back a whopper of a fish. I believe there was a total of 8 brought to the nest but will be corrected if I am wrong.
Two of our young ospreys were preening but now only one who has got up and is still at it. The other two are asleep.
Nearly the end of June already and look how they've grown!!
Enjoy the night viewing wherever you are. Night, night.

heard the calls from the youngsters in the other room. They are still waiting, one keeps chunnering now and then.
Will catch up later, have to go and sort dinner out.
Was it Soosin? That early?? Gol-ee. But it is windy so the waves will make it difficult for Odin, won't they?
Not seen Odin since he brought the last fish at 11.am, Soosin.
I love the way the sunlight gives the feathers a lovely bronze look.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
So do I Heron. I do hope Odin puts in an appearance (with fish) before i have to leave for work.
Shouting won't hurry him youngster !
EJ gone again - didn't see her leave
Well, I'm off to work in 10 mins so like Margobird and Lynette and Lindy before me I really hope for (2) a fish by the time I get home, after 10 pm. Sigh. Youngsters are quiet since there is no one to whom to complain, .
Hope you all have an enjoyable evening.
EJ with - moss, oh well, they're all chirping at her.
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy. Spike Milligan
EJ left the nest again. think the young ones were being a bit vocal lol
Sorry if I am repeating what someone else has noticed (I don't read every page on this thread) - I see we are back to red moss - maybe a seasonal thing!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
