Hi everyone,
Its been an uneventful day except that EJ went fishing for the first time since the chicks came along and brought back a whopper of a fish. I believe there was a total of 8 brought to the nest but will be corrected if I am wrong.
Two of our young ospreys were preening but now only one who has got up and is still at it. The other two are asleep.
Nearly the end of June already and look how they've grown!!
Enjoy the night viewing wherever you are. Night, night.

If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
EJ has got fed up with the tantrum and left the nest to hopefully catch a fish and quiten them down. Wish the camera didn't keep freezing.

Mum has gone, One did a wing flap exercise right on the edge then, whew, its got down now thank goodness.
All three taking a look around, exercising, and preening.
EJ returns, deposits what looks like a small piece of furniture, then leaves.

sat down again because of the wind.
a small comment from David on main Blog:-
Little bit breezy up there today! I wouldn't worry to much about the chicks falling out the nest, you will see a lot of flapping of wings etc over the next few weeks as the chicks build up their strength, and it may look as if its....... well a bit scarily close to the edge but there isn't much danger of them being blown out.

Thanks for that, Soosin. They don't (themselves) seem too worried about the wind catching them, do they?
edit: All laying down again, and quiet now. You'll just have to be patient, my little chickadees....
nope, but it always looks like one gust and they'd be over. Its such an amazing phase now and really funny to watch.
Very thoughtful of you Soosin. Yesterday I was wondering if Eldest might fledge prematurely cos of the wind !!!
