Hi, all quiet on the nest, EJ must be close by in her tree, leaving the young ones the spread of the nest.
I think it was 8 fish in all yesterday.
Night, night, see you all in the morning.

All gone already, the three are mouching around the nest, EJ wondering what on earth is going on.
One of them nearly took EJ's head off with a wing flap. Two of them are settling down to let it digest, the third younster is having a look around and is now settling.
Have to go out will catch up later.

Unknown said: Thanks Barbara Jean! Odin really is something! Heron, maybe Odin does what that Finnish satellite-osprey Jukka has done, see http://www.dataeura.fi/kuvia/saaksi/Jukka0410/index.html and the image on page 3 and second row from bottom ( sorry off topic...)

Here is auntie's post with the link to the Finnish osprey, Lynette.
3 fish already today from Superodin. Thanks to Auntie for the Jukka link. I have it in my favourites but did not spot the photo of the 2 fish at once capture.
All quiet now at last: EJ enjoying the peace and looking around: there is a light breeze to cool her off a bit.
If you've just logged in: 3 fish so far today, 5.11am, 5.20am, and 9.12am.
I would love to see pictures of Odin fishing, since I will never be able to visit LG.
I live in the USA.

Good morning OH at work again for the morning so trying to catch up yet again. Thanks to all for the pics and just how wonderful is Odin. What a super mate to EJ and Dad to those little monsters. 8 fisn yesterday and already 3 today. Sounds a little windy at LG but perhaps they will appreciate a cooling breeze. The monsters are much more active and a lot of preening going on getting ready for their first flight. Time just goes so quickly here we are and soon they will be fledging. We have had another wonderful year so far and long may it continue.
auntie thanks for the link just amazing.

#2 is trying to exercise it's wings, but it keeps toppling over in the wind. First it batted EJ in the head and then fell into her. LOL
EJ calling ... is it Odin with a fish, or has she spotted him lazing in the tree! Some of the young ones have joined in :-)
