Hi everyone, happy viewing through the early hours.
Barbara Jean posted a pic on yesterdays diary (at the end) of the chicks in May, compare them to now, they are young ospreys not those fluffy little bundles anymore.
EJ and her brood are sleeping, all is at peace.
See you all in the morning, night, night.

I missed that DjoanS but have just seen one of them spead ts wing right out over the other two. They are just so big now.

Thanks for clarifying that it is bark, I didn't think a fish had been delivered since early this morning.
All three are laid out like lettuce leaves and EJ is looking around her. Was that Odin chirping in the background a moment or two ago, Wasn't sure who was calling.
It was so funny then, the young one nearest EJ stretched its wing out and hit his sibling, didn't like it. It is now up along with its brotherd/sister having a preen, seeing what mischief they can get up too. Third one now is waking up, all having a stretch. Time for afternoon tea, me thinks. EJ looks ever hopeful.
Those ospreys in miniature are having such a pracice session with their wings but a bit too close to the edge of the nest for me. EJ has just left perhaps she is looking or her OH.
Think they want a fish calling a little now. EJ still away.
I came in from the garden as they are all making noises - quite a lot of rattling about by the chicks, and Mum doing her yoga again now:
as I took the picture, she put her foot back down again... a different yoga pose, methinks!
Half-time in the football ... come on Odin ... there's three starving (NOT!) young ones to be fed :-)

HA HA! - I remember those Half Time Fish, its been quite surprising how often Odin has managed that, hasn't it! C'mon Odin! C'mon Odin!
Lindybird - I can just hear you chanting "C'mon Odin!" He's too late now ... second half just started :-)
poor you, Joan - my singing's not great! The sentiment's there though, for one of the Greatest Osprey Dads of the century so far!
