Hi everyone, happy viewing through the early hours.
Barbara Jean posted a pic on yesterdays diary (at the end) of the chicks in May, compare them to now, they are young ospreys not those fluffy little bundles anymore.
EJ and her brood are sleeping, all is at peace.
See you all in the morning, night, night.

Mmmmm - I think it's a piece of bark Lynette. Anyone else see fish or bark?
Can see two unidentified objects, pretty sure they are both bark.....
afternoon everyone. Been on holiday for a couple of days, come back and the chicks seem to have doubled in size!
Thanks for all the updates/pics etc. Lovely to catch up
All quiet on the nest now. Earlier, I did see EJ get hit in the head when one of the chicks was exercising the wings:)
Hi Gary - There have been some comical moments with EJ moving the furniture in a panic about the youngsters escaping, and she has been hitting them on the head with sticks and trampling on them, good job they are no longer such little babies! (Hope you enjoyed your break.)
I'm pretty sure there's no fish on the nest ... the last fish was completely finished by EJ ... although even she was having difficulty finding room for it ... she looked stuffed too :-)

She was eating the last of it when I left this morning, Joan, and it was so nice to see her tucking in and filling up, knowing that the 'babies' had had their fill already.
Hi Linda:)
Thanks, had a lovely couple of days. Took MIL to Niagara Falls, we loved it.
That sounds funny, all the goings on. The chicks must be used to mum bashing them about. I love this stage, when they are moving around a lot and really into things:)
They blend in so well. I really have to look to spot the 3rd chick at the moment
Hi Gary - I can't tell them apart now ... at least when the two oldest get their 'bling' I will know which is #3 :-)
I agree Lindybird - it was so nice to see EJ getting such a big piece of fish to herself ... and able to eat it in peace!
Did anyone just see what happened there? The one nearest the camera had been wandering and came over this side and tried to pick up a stick ... which turned out to be the outstretched leg & foot of the middle one! It was not pleased :-)))
"Oi ... that was my foot"
Hello Gary nice to see you back and as you can see those youngsters are providing a lot of entertainment now they are getting so large.
