Hi everybody, Its been a great day at LG, weather has been kind, particularly after the wind dropped. Not sure how many fish were delivered.
News from LOTL is that Lady is making steady progress so one hopes she will see out the season.
At present the youngsters are home alone, EJ is probably on a perch keeping an eye on the nest from that or she has gone for a flyaround.
Off to bed, see you in the morning.

Moss delivery by EJ
Hi AQ - EJ came back very quickly, with a big clump of moss - now deciding what to do with it!
Now, I've brought this thing -- what the heck shall I do with it now?
EJ looks a bit bemused: "Can these monster creatures really be my chicks?? !!"
i don't think these chicks are ever going to want to leave the nest..
you look at all the other osprey nests and they are big nests of only sticks with uncomfortable positions in some windswept location..
these chicks here have a wonderful soft bed, with EJ continously bringing more moss to make it softer and softer, and a never ending supply of fish from a dad who just wants fat healthy chicks... they've even got a garden in their home, and the walls are getting ever higher... their rooms even get cleaned by their mum and dad when they make a mess..
why would they ever want to leave..
oh yeah... scottish winter...
Hi Pharazon - (like the handsome new avatar you!) -
You are quite right, what teenager would ever want to leave when they have a comfy bed like that, and room service!
But they don't know about winter yet. And if they did . . . well, like all teenagers they'll say "That won't happen to me".
That's true, too AQ.
Youngsters now trundling around the nest, complaining....
Beaks open, shouting for fish!
