Hi everybody,
Its been another eventful day, Odin has been a great dad and provided for his family as usual
Chicks are getting more adventurous in the nest.
EJ being a wonderful mum. Intruder has been about again but has been sent packing.
At the moment EJ is trying to rest but the youngsters keep wriggling about so disturb her.
Happy viewing, see you all in the morning.

No 2 not as stuffed as she first thought...
Terry in Cumbria
we have some seriously uninterested in food chicks at the moment
even EJ's just picking at it
#1 back for more now. This could go on for a while.
Chicks #1 and #3 are having a lie down on the lawn.
Yes, it's a bit less frenetic when it's one to one, but could take all day. Titch now thinking is it my turn? Oh no, laying down again.
Did you see the article on the news this morning about the midges not being killed off by the cold winter as was hoped ? I think all that fish that has been brought to the nest this morning is certainly attracting some buzzing insects.
Titch definitely in for seconds now. It wants to be as big as it's siblings.
Ah, all seem sated now.
EJ offering food again and Titch is first there
Just popped out for an icecream (well I do work by the seaside) and got back to see Titch eating, but they're all panting now and sheltering in mum's shadow. Couldn't write this until I'd finished the icecream though.
Good afternoon all just logged in again to find a feeding session going on. the chicks seem to be even larger than they were earlier. Not surprising really after the surfeit of fish so far today. Wonder how long it will be before EJ calls Odin for more supplies plus one for the larder perhaps. Looks lovely and sunny at LG at the moment. So glad the weather has improved for them. Hate it when I see EJ sitting in the rain and 3 chicks who can no longer shelter under her complaining about the rotten weather. I think the chicks should have a nice sleep now and let their tummies empty a bit.
