Hi everybody,
Its been another eventful day, Odin has been a great dad and provided for his family as usual
Chicks are getting more adventurous in the nest.
EJ being a wonderful mum. Intruder has been about again but has been sent packing.
At the moment EJ is trying to rest but the youngsters keep wriggling about so disturb her.
Happy viewing, see you all in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Have just noticed that two more people have joined the Osprey Group in the last few hours - Welcome whoever you are.
Yes, Brenda, I was so astounded at all the news that I forgot to thank everyone for their wonderful descriptions of the last events: Thanks, you are all treasures!

Morning, a quick stop for me and I can almost smell that pongy nest!! OooH! What a hoot this morning. They fairly bring a smile to your face. Duty calls.
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
The three naughty children have all stood up and showing mum the fish! It's hilarious.
chicks are up, fish is now in full view
Ah yes ... now the chicks are all up I can see that 'old' fish! Maybe EJ will start feeding them from that now.

The chicks get perilously close to the edge of the nest!! An extension is needed I think!
A time to remember Odin's Ode from last June. See http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/blogs/lochgartenospreys/archive/2009/06/25/Odin_2700_s-Ode.aspx

EJ looking around intently. Sound like Odin calling in the distance.
All three up and about and exploring. #2 or #3 was looking at the fish as if to say "what do I do with this" but is now watching its siblings and gazing at the outside world. Titch is at the far end of the nest by EJ having a look at the world.
