Hi everybody,
Its been another eventful day, Odin has been a great dad and provided for his family as usual
Chicks are getting more adventurous in the nest.
EJ being a wonderful mum. Intruder has been about again but has been sent packing.
At the moment EJ is trying to rest but the youngsters keep wriggling about so disturb her.
Happy viewing, see you all in the morning.

Odin just delivered another good size fish. Not much excitement. Chick # 1 & Titch are the only ones eating.. And they didn't rush to the fish when it was delivered
Titch must have a hollow leg
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
All tucking in again..........
Titch is so flat out from over eating it can't even keep it's wings on it's back LOL The wings are spread out on the nest like the rest of Titch
Morning/afternoon all: Thanks so much for pix, posts. LizLFW Appreciate knowing where those fish came from; Wattle: Thanks for your sharp eyes and photo enlargement skills (was that cleaned fish from some hapless fisherman I wonder?). Had to laugh at "lettuce leaves spread out on nest" and "basketball with legs" descriptions. :-)
Wonder if Odin will repeat the show tonight - not sure I can stand the excitement! Off to start day; back later. Take care all and thanks again.
Hi Annette, It's just been one big fish fest all day!!!! I wonder how they get excited about fish ALL the time!!! LOL EDIT That was queer I was told I had a duplicate post and I don't. Humm!!!
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
Is there stilla fish in the nest. EJ seems to be looking for something!!
Everything seems peaceful now. Chicks are sleeping it off and EJ is just standing there content looking and enjoying the peace and quiet. At least there have been no intruders today.
I read that it takes an Osprey 4-5 dives to catch a fish. Perhaps Odin has perfected his diving skills so he is catching his prey on the first dive, That would make it possible for him to deliver so many fish in a short time.
I heard that they sometimes only catch 1 in 5 of the fish they dive for, Barbara Jean. So Odin is doing well, and perhaps you're right about him perfecting his skills now, he's certainly had plenty of practice this year and last! Odin the Magnificent!
Stirrings on the nest and they are awake and having a look around whilst EJ looks on.EJ's getting a little nest tired and was stretching her wing and foot. Now feeding herself with the leftovers.
