Hi everyone, been an eventful day, 7 fish in all, chicks have been eating all they can and are getting bigger by the day.
All peaceful on the nest and EJ looks to be getting some sleep.
Happy watching, see you in the morning.

No, mine hasn't. EJ still sitting & watching. Miscellaneous rumps on view. Radio Chaffinch playing & some other bird, sort of sounding like whiiiiip.
Got it back. Phew. Odin should be showing up soon. EJ is looking out over the trees in that direction.

Yesterday chick #1 was helping EJ call Odin in :)
Wait until they are all helping EJ call him LOL

I am a little disappointed they don't have anyone at the center handling the camera so we can get a few close-ups of the chicks. Last year they had a young volunteer doing it
Barbara Jean: That will be some racket when they all start calling for fish - I was just thinking that earlier this evening.
I can't believe that we've already got 25 "replies" on today's thread and Nothing Has Happened yet! EJ hasn't even gone for a flyabout.
Barbara Jean - I agree. LOTL gives great close-ups.
Amazing what we can find to say about nothing. LOL I dread to think how many (200-300?) I shall have to read when I log on tomorrow !!!!! I'm not complaining. 'Tis the only way I can "see" what is happening when I am elsewhere. Someone is continuing his/her piercing call.
I love the way they wake up, stretch and then snuggle up to EJ again.
Aha! Action! EJ off for a flyabout.
