All quiet, chicks are chunnering, EJ is fidgity because the chicks keep wriggling.
Been a bit of an eventful day
Weather looks dry at present so lets hope today brings some sunshine for a change.
Happy watching to you all from overseas. See you in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Hi Brenda H, no, I do not have the data in this form for last year. I could maybe do it in a few weeks time, I could produce a blank proforma and request the help of bloggers to fill in the blanks. The data is in the blog archives, so it should be possible. A job for a rainy day, I think. When I visit LG, I could ask, if they could give me a copy, of this info, as another option.
One aspect the fascinates me is the question that, when will we see the return by a sighting of one EJ's previous surviving chicks. There was one 'intruder' some weeks back at the nest, who was not a threat, but was asked to leave politely, but firmly. Maybe it has occurred under our noses, but no ring details were spotted.
So another data line could read, 'Age at re-sighting of chick post-migration'. (Or during migration, even more exciting) .But that's a pipe-dream. Xalbai's encounter with Mallachie last year, was a very long odds chance that occurred. Rothes managed to avoid detection at the fish farm for weeks on end.
I still smile when I think about Faune-Aquitaine's jest....."How do you tell, if it is a Scottish Osprey?" "Quite easy in fact, the kilt of course!"

Really, jsb ?? - I should have thought that the Scottish accent would have given it away!
jsb/ Linda, Oh Dear. Now quite worried about you two !!
jsb, I know I have some info buried in my files. I will try and dig them out. I remember someone getting an end of season info sheet last season from LG.
Hi Guys
I do have quite a comprehensive data sheet sent to me by Tiger for last year. If you leave a message on his page I am sure he will be able help and link it here. I only have it in paper form now but if it comes to it I could type it out myself and post it on. Be a bit time consuming tho' so it won't be straight away.
Leafy and twiggy branch brought to nest by EJ about 12.02
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Sorry my scanning is a bit fuzzy!
Will do same for 2008.

Hi Foxtail, and others interested in collecting data, I may get the info from LG soon. Also the historical records may recall a few bad and sad memories, so I need to be careful, but the idea is worth considering.
In the meantime the RSPB search facility has thrown up this from Tiger. So the resources should help. Here is what Tiger said.

I have prepared this data from last year so I hope it is accurate.
