All quiet, chicks are chunnering, EJ is fidgity because the chicks keep wriggling.
Been a bit of an eventful day
Weather looks dry at present so lets hope today brings some sunshine for a change.
Happy watching to you all from overseas. See you in the morning.

EJ moving from camera end to face the camera whilst one of the youngsters is still chunnering away, probably wanting more fish.
Tiger and OG: Thanks for the data posted earlier today, I can use it in about 2 to 3 weeks time to combine it with 2010. I have noted today's daily update on my spreadsheet so that I can track back, to get it to transfer it then.

Sat track schedule Spring 2014
LG 7 days; RW & SWT nil; LDOP varies
All quiet at present: EJ standing guard over a whole heap of sleeping chicks, each merging into the other.
Odin is doing well with the fishing.
She just went for a quick comfort break whilst I posted the above pic.
She did not cheep to wake the chicks when she returned, probably glad to get a bit of peace.
I just logged in and caught up on what happened today on the nest. THANKS to all for the comments and great pictures.
My guess is chicks #'s 1 & 2 are the same sex and Titch is the opposite sex of them
And my guess is Titch is a male. Chicks # 1 & 2 are willing to let him (?) snuggle under them. Female trait of brooding.
In about 3 weeks we will have names for them and can stop referring to the by the order in which they hatched :)
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Barbara Jean, I was thinking the same as you, 1 + 2 female, Titch male.

Watching the chicks, the eldest, I think, nearest the camera, keeps calling as though mimiking mum. It is wide awake while the other two doze. EJ just watching and hoping that Odin will come in again with food.
Very interesting observations, stats, and pix today. Thanks so much everyone! (But kilts? Scottish accents? - had to laugh at that.)
