No fish left, but I don't know if it was small, or if EJ took off with it and lost it.

Please, has some one recorded that ? She left the nest whilst shouting. Did she just drop the fish in her haste to fly off ?
There was plenty of fish Joan.
I didn't see the size of the fish, but even a small one would have taken longer than that to eat .... and she took off so abruptly I think she must have lost it :-(
Morning all: Just stopping by for a minute - managed to catch the last delivery. Odin is doing well again - bless his cotton socks. Back later to catch up.

Maybe she decided it wasn't a fresh fish. I don't know what happened !!!
Brenda - one thing is for sure ... Odin will not be best pleased! All seems quiet, so maybe he's gone for a replacement :-)
Hi - I've just come on to find a very damp EJ sheltering the chicks. Glad to see there have been 5 fish today already.
Linda, Most of the 5th fish was lost. ( see above)
I just can't believe an experienced Osprey like EJ lost a fish !!!!!! There has to be some other explanation. How many minutes did the feed last? Any idea?
